Champion Style 668 Graphite Reinforced (Metallic) Packing is manufactured from high purity flexible graphite that is diagonal braided of pure, expanded flexible graphite ribbons, reinforced with fine metallic wires. It is treated with corrosion inhibitor.

CHAMPION Style 668 Graphite Reinforced (Metallic) Packing is recommended as a multi-service packing for use in high pressure / high temperature valve stems, steam valves and turbines, motor-actuated valves, reactors, mixers, agitators and autoclaves. Suitable for use with superheated steam and saturated steam, hydrocarbons, petrochemicals, thermic fluids and hot oils.
Champion 668 Metallic is an excellent alternative to high temperature / high pressure asbestos valve packings.
Steam, water, fuel, gases, condensate, oils, effluents, process water and chemical solutions in all processes, except with highly oxidizing media.
All popular sections from 3mm to 25mm in boxes containing length of 10m or in coil form by meter or 1/2.5 kilograms.
Also supplied as split pre-formed rings and ring sets. Special size and lengths available on request.
