High strength graphite packing suitable for aggressive media at elevated temperatures

Product Description

CHAMPION GRAFOSUPER™ Style 66 Graphite-Carbon Packing is a specially developed packing with special carbon filament yarn with PTFE/Graphite coating and corrosion inhibitor to enhance temperature resistance at corrosive media, sealability, high thermal conductivity, abrasion resistance and low co-efficient of friction.

Key Features

Excellent resistance to fretting and extrusion due to tough construction.
Low friction for low torque valve applications.
The packing has excellent resistance to wide range of chemicals / media at elevated temperatures.

Applications

CHAMPION GRAFOSUPER™ Style 66 Graphite-Carbon Packing are also used primary for sealing in high temperature / pressure corrosive media, steam service for on/off valves and control valves.

Suitable for application at thermal power plants, petrochemicals, oil refineries, shipbuilding, marine installations and chemical plants.

Service Media

Compatible with media in the range of pH 0-14. Suitable for duties with water, condensate, alkalis, acids, chemicals and solvents.

Not recommended for oxygen, fuming nitric acid, fluorine, strong oxidising agents and aqua regia.

How Supplied

All popular sections from 3mm to 25mm in boxes containing length of 10m or in coil form by meter or 1/2.5 kilograms.

Also supplied as split pre-formed rings and ring sets. Special size and lengths available on request.
