Product Description

CHAMPION CARBOSUPERTM Style 38 Carbon Packing is manufactured from a high purity carbon filament yarn and thoroughly impregnated with special grade PTFE graphite mixture and a corrosion inhibitor. Available with a reinforcement of inconel wire as Style 40 Carbon Packing.

Applications

CHAMPION CARBOSUPERTM Style 38 Carbon Packings are best suited for high speed, high temperature and pressure applications in sealing boiler feed pumps, super heat steam, agitators, mixers, digester, crystallisers.

It is recommended for valve stem packing and for pump seals.

Service Media

Compatible with media in the range pH 1-14 suitable for use with acid, alkali, solvent, boiler feed water, caustic, liquor, oil, gasses, hydrocarbons, super-heated steam, solvents, oils, non oxidising mineral acids and alkalies. Not recommended for oxygen, fuming nitric acid, fluorine, strong oxidising agents and aqua regia.

How Supplied

All popular sections from 3mm to 25mm in boxes containing length of 10m or in coil form by meter or 1/2.5 kilograms.

Also supplied as split pre-formed rings and ring sets. Special size and lengths available\ on request.
