Mr. Meher Keki Palia is known as the pioneer of the Jointing Sheet industry across the Indian sub-continent and the Founding Member of the Champion Group. His rich contribution to research, innovation with joint technical collaboration has been recognized through product standardization and development with customers and industry. Having been in the jointing/gasket sheet manufacturing industry for over 40 years, our company has a mentor and technical specialist for design and commercialization of our manufacturing units. During his expansive career in this field, he has been instrumental in ground breaking 5 manufacturing units. With his passion for building and setting up new projects, we have diversified into the hospitality industry, building Sherwood Resort at Mahabaleshwar. Mr. Palia is mentoring his two sons, Danesh & Neville to carry forward the Champion tradition of customer focus, quality products and superior service to ensure Champion retains its leadership in the industry.
Mr. Danesh Meher Palia
Mr. Danesh Meher Palia joined the organization full time from 2002 and started with leading sales & marketing team in Eastern Sector of India attending to core sector industries - steel plants, power generation plants, mines. Prior to joining Champion, Danesh worked with ICICI Prudential. Danesh oversees the Tarapur manufacturing unit as well as day to day commercial operations at our headquarters’.
Mr. Neville Meher Palia
Mr. Neville Meher Palia attends to the operations at the Kanhe and Khopoli manufacturing units. Neville’s passion for machines from a young age, makes it a perfect balance to be involved in the strategic planning and driving productivity while delivering quality solutions of the manufacturing units. Prior to working full time at Champion, Neville got inducted on the shop floor manufacturing gaskets/jointing sheets at our technical collaborators plant in England. His contribution to the expansion of existing plant capacity as well as set up of the new plants is critical to success of Champion Group growth .
