CHAMPION HYDROFLON™ Style 374 Packing is a hydraulic packing which is braided from soft natural fibre yarn impregnated yarn-by-yarn with high grade pure PTFE and treated with special inert lubricants.
- Easily adjustable during application.
- Resistant to deformation.
- Lubrication reduces shaft scoring.
- PTFE reduces shaft corrosion.
- Excellent resistance to water duties, salt water, solvents, fuels, oils and greases.
CHAMPION HYDROFLON™ Style 374 Packings are recommended for use in hydraulic applications in low and medium pressure pumps and valves, air compressors, vacuum pumps and in thermal power plants.
The packing is suitable for all dynamic applications with raw water, sea water, oils and greases (propeller shaft, pumps and agitators).
Compatible with media in the range pH 4-10. Suitable for use with hot and cold water, condensates and hydraulic fluids. It is also suitable for use with weakly aggressive fluids, food, canning and naval industries.
All popular sections from 6mm to 25mm in boxes containing 1/2.5 kilograms. Also supplied as split pre-formed rings and ring sets. Special size and lengths available on request.
