High Performance Aramid Packing having Excellent Chemical Resistance
CHAMPION DURAGOLD™ Style 174 Aramid-PTFE (Impregnated) Packing is a high-performance abrasion resistant, aramid packing resistant to chemicals at high temperature. This performance packing is cross-plaited from texturized filament para -aramid yarns. Each stand of yarn is uniformly impregnated with PTFE dispersion and temperature resistant lubricants.

CHAMPION DURAGOLD™ Style 174 Aramid-PTFE(Impregnated) Packing are also used primary for sealing in high temperature, abrasive media and slurry applications. Typical applications are valves, pumps, agitators, rotary and reciprocating applications in solvents, mild alkalies handling abrasive and aggressive media in pulp and paper mills, petrochemical plants, power stations, metallurgical plants, sewage works. Suitable for duties with suitable for potable water, medium pressure steam, and hardening fluids.
Compatible with media in the range pH 3-12, including water, oils, solvents, medium strength acids and alkalis.
All popular sections from 3mm to 25mm in boxes containing length of 10m or in coil form by meter or 1/2.5 kilograms. Also supplied as split pre-formed rings and ring sets. Special size and lengths available on request.
