High performance PTFE graphite packingwith aramid core for abrasive media

Product Description

CHAMPION KOMBIFLON™ Style 6375 is a Combination Packing manufactured from a high strength aramid core encapsulated inside an PTFE / graphite jacket. The aramid core contributes for exceptional mechanical strength and dimensional stability for abrasive applications, while the PTFE / graphite jacket provides chemical resistance, heat conductivity, self-lubrication and a low coefficient of friction.

Highly resistant to abrasion.
Capable of safeguarding parent equipment from corrosion which frequently takes place due to friction between sleeves and conventional hard packing when it wears out.
Requires minimum gland adjustment for extreme leakage free performance.
Minimal maintenance cost.
Absorbs eccentric shaft/ram actions and thermal/pressure shocks and cycling.

Applications

CHAMPION KOMBIFLON™ Style 6375 are speciality packings recommended for slurry applications requiring high abrasion resistance.

Can be used in Pump Stuffing Box, Valve Gland, Agitator, Mixer, Clinker Grinder, Digesters, Booster, rotary and reciprocating pumps etc.

Service Media

Compatible with media in the range pH 1-13, including water, steam, fuels, oils, solvents, waxes, and mild acids and alkalis.

Recommended for use with ash slurry, fly ash water, chemical slurry, iron ore, alumina slurry, viscous chemical mixed with solid particles, coal dust or any other abrasive media.

How Supplied

All popular sections from 6mm to 25mm in boxes containing length of 10m or in coil form by meter or 1/2.5 kilograms.

Also supplied as split pre-formed rings and ring sets. Special size and lengths available on request.
