General duties for marine applications
CHAMPION HYDROFLON™ Style 2222 Marine Packing is a hydraulic packing which is braided from long life natural flax fibre yarn impregnated yarn-by-yarn with dispersed with high grade MICA flakes and treated with special inert lubricants.
- Lubrication reduces shaft wear and friction.
- MICA helps in lubrication and dissipating heat.

CHAMPION HYDROFLON™ Style 2222 Marine Packings are recommended for use in hydraulic applications in low and medium centrifugal pumps, pistons, saline and muddy water at high RPMs
The packing is suitable for all hydraulic applications.
Compatible with media in the range pH 6-10. Suitable for use with cold water applications, condensates and hydraulic fluids.
All popular sections from 6mm to 25mm in boxes containing 1/2.5 kilograms. Also supplied as split pre-formed rings and ring sets. Special size and lengths available on request.
